Emails from our members

We've gotten dozens of angry emails from members, many of them asking for the money they donated to the defense fund back. And over 1000 members left ColorofChange.org last week.

Here are a few quotes from angry ColorofChange.org members who emailed us:

"It is really sad to know that an organization such as yours is taking money for the Jena Six defense fund and not distributing to the places you claim you are collecting it for. Michael Baisden and the father of Michael Bell were on today saying they have no idea what the Color of Change is doing with this money because no one knows and you could possibly be a fraud. It's people like you who make it hard for many of the rest of us."

"In lieu of the accusations by Marcus Jones, father of Mychal Bell that you collected money on behalf of his son & those others of the Jena 6 and have yet to forward that to them, I no longer wish to be affiliated w/your website. Please unsubscribe effective immediately."

Do not send me anymore e-mails from your organization!!! The family does not know who you are and you're not collecting money for the families of the Jena 6, you're praying on people and being an opportunist!!!!!! I do not want to be a part of your organization whatsoever!!!!!!

I wouldn't give you motherf - - - -r s a dime. You stole that money that you were supposed to send to the Jenn6 defense fund. I heard Micheal Bell's father say that you took in money and was supposed to send it to the defense fund and they never received a dime of it. I hope the hell someone asks me about your organization and I will tell them about how much of a thief you and your organization are....Go to hell.
