ColorOfChange.org demands Fox fire Eric Bolling after offensive “crack pipe” comments

NEW YORK – The following is a statement from ColorOfChange Executive Director Rashad Robinson regarding FOX’s Eric Bollings’ recent use of stereotypes to belittle another Black politician.

“Last summer, Eric Bolling attacked President Obama with offensive racial stereotypes, and now he’s at it again, using childish stereotypes to belittle another black politician. Nearly 100,000 people have called on Fox to fire Bolling, but Fox Business and Fox News continue to be safe havens for commentators who stoke race-based fears for political advantage. If Roger Ailes still refuses to fire Bolling, it will make it even clearer to the public and the media that fomenting racial division is part of Fox’s agenda.”

Today, Bolling referenced the tragic death of Whitney Houston in a brutal, race-baiting attack on Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA).

Last summer, Bolling said President Obama was inviting “hoodlums to the hizzouse,” a reference to an official meeting at the White House with the President of Gabon.
