Color Of Change Addresses Mark Zuckerberg’s Private Meetings with Conservative Influencers

NATIONWIDE — In response to a POLITICO report that detailed Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s private meetings with conservative influencers, Color Of Change President Rashad Robinson issued the following response:

“By continuing to prioritize the revenues generated by Trump’s hateful rhetoric, Mark Zuckerberg is normalizing violence against Black communities and other marginalized groups. Facebook’s recent political ad policy change, which they attempted to shove under the rug, proves that the company is doubling down on a broken business model that threatens our fundamental rights and protections online. Congress must act immediately to rein in Facebook and send a message to Big Tech that while politics may be up for debate, civil rights are not.”
