Spirit of the Season
Support Color Of Change Nov. 29 on Giving Tuesday
November is a season of giving. And with Giving Tuesday coming up on Nov. 29, just after Thanksgiving, we ask you to continue fueling the power of change with a donation to Color Of Change.
This year, Color Of Change celebrated 17 years of service since our founding in 2005 in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Initiated to strengthen the political voice of African Americans, our movement has grown thanks to members like you.
Color Of Change accepts no corporate donations. Our digital grassroots donors — most of whom donate $36 or less — believe in and support our vision to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America.
Your contribution on Giving Tuesday will help us continue fighting injustice, holding corporate and political leaders accountable, commissioning game-changing research on systems of inequality and advancing solutions that can transform our world.
“When you become a dedicated donor, you are generously helping to grow a community of uncompromised supporters who are providing the means to push for progressive solutions that make a difference,” said Drew Daniels, a COC senior campaign director.
“There is still so much work to be done to end the injustices that hold us back and harm our communities,” Daniels said. “Together, I know we can build the power to rewrite the rules, change narratives and transform the lives of Black people in America.
“Our fight to end injustices … starts with donations and other forms of support from our members,” he said.
We hope you will make a gift to Color Of Change on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 29, and during this season of giving.
