During the COC/NEA #DefendBlackHistory Storytelling Workshop, we equipped attendees with the tools they need to show up confidently at local school board and city council meetings to share their stories. Participants learned how to craft their narratives, address the issues at stake, and demand more for our students from their local school boards.
