ColorOfChange.org Applauds Governor Kasich’s Decision to ask Ohio Parole Board to Review Williams-Bolar Case

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The following is a statement from James Rucker, executive director of ColorOfChange.org, regarding Governor Kasich’s decision to ask the Ohio Parole Board to review the case of Kelley Williams-Bolar.

“We were happy to learn that after hearing from more than 150,000 people, Governor Kasich has asked the parole board to review Williams-Bolar’s case. Our members and others across the country called on Gov. Kasich to commit to pardoning Williams-Bolar if and when the parole board recommends it. We’re encouraged by the Governor’s involvement, and we urge him to continue doing everything he can to push for justice.”
